We are now in the planning stage and forming a local organizing committee.
There will be special programs for children & teens as well as seminars for adults. Some currently being considered are: photography as a genealogical tool (Rochester is the home of George Eastman and Kodak), "Genealogy 101" for those who are just starting the quest for their family heritage, visits to local Olmste(a)d sites, DNA as a genealogical tool and an update on what we have learned thus far about our Olmste(a)d family, the family in England and elsewhere, and discussion & research updates on various Olmste(a)d family lines.
